Valorant is a free-to-play multiplayer ego shooter developed by Riot Games. It is the first game that Riot Games developed in this genre. The game was announced for the first time in October 2019 with the Codename Project A. It was released on 2 June 2020 for Microsoft Windows. Originally, the publication was planned for the summer 2020. A closed beta version started on April 7, 2020.
