The Developer Studio Gearbox Software is currently working not only at the Borderlands offshoot Tiny Tinas Wonderlands, but also on a new brother in Arms. The Gearbox Managing Director Randy Pitchford betrayed in an interview as part of the podcast Aias Game Maker's notebook . The interview took place in April of this year, but is only now ready for the public. Among other things, the conversation was about the late announcement of games whose development is already well advanced. Pitchford said:
I have not even announced Borderlands 3 before it was in the beta. That's stupid, because I know that there are some people - we work on a new brother-in-arm game - but I will not say anything Before we really have something. We have fans who love this series. But they will have to suffer.
Accordingly, Gearbox Software has probably been working on a continuation of Brothers in Arms for some time now. However, the team will probably officially comment on when the development is further advanced. When exactly that will be, so far little is well known as further details about the new game.
The publication of the last part is now for 13 years. At that time, Brothers came in Arms: Hell's highway for the PC and consoles on the market. In the following years, there were always rumors and hints on the future of the brand.
