Beyond Good & Evil 2 lives, but probably not on PS4 and Xbox One anymore

Beyond Good & Evil 2 is already a curious project. For years, rumors surrounded the overall continued continuation of the surprise hits from 2003. Then there was actually a teaser at some point, but again years of silence were followed. On the E3 2017 then the newly great revelation. Since then we have seen either CG trailers or Tech demos.

Most recently, there was hardly any information about the game, not even on the E3 2021. Ubisoft soothed recently, however, the fears of the fans: Beyond Good & Evil 2 lives! - But probably no longer on all platforms.

Last gene is probably passé

Of course, Beyond Good & Evil 2 2017 was announced next to the PC for PS4 and Xbox One, nobody knew from the successors at that time. Little surprisingly, the title will leave the last console renewal but now, because who knows when he will appear. Instead, Ubisoft is now focusing on the PS5 and Xbox Series X / s.

Beta reveals the change: The whole thing was discovered by a user on Resetera. On the side of ubisoft there is the sub-item "betas and tests". This also includes the "Space Monkey Program" for Beyond Good & Evil 2. So far, interested parties had the choice between PC, PS4 and Xbox ONE. Recently (we do not know the exact time), however, the options are PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X / s.

Of course, that is not yet a definitive proof. But it is a very clear indicator and actually only logical. When BG & E 2 at some point comes to the market, the load-gene consoles may be more or less obsolete and have a high number of current gene devices in the hands of the playing ones.

New details for Beyond Good & Evil 2 do not want to call Ubisoft right now, but it was too early. Nevertheless, the Publisher insists that the development would go well. However, it is quite the question of whether the developer and publisher did not take over with the ambitious approach.

BG & E 2 will not be a simple action adventure as the first part. Instead, we should be able to explore a huge galaxy. And not alone, because MMO elements are also implemented. It remains exciting in any case.
