Developers say: 48,000 certified accounts in one day
What happened? On Twitter, the official account of Call of Duty said that 48,000 cheater accounts were banned in COD War zone and Vanguard. That happened in one day, on the 21st of December.
According to the Tweet, the new Cheat Tool Ricochet should be responsible for this. Accordingly, these accounts should be banned forever from all COD games.
In August, it was announced that since the launch of War zone in March 2020 to August 2021 over 500,000 players were banned (via NGC). How many have come to yesterday's spell, is not concrete.
