Starting with the release of the Director's Cut by Ghost of Tsushima on August 20, 2021, the multiplayer "Legends" also gets some updates, as developer Sucker Punch in a blog entry announced. In addition to smaller tweaks Legends also gets a lot of new content.
Standalone Multiplayer: All the prevalence should give online mode to buy individually from September 3. So you have no interest in the campaign of the game, you can get legends in the PS Store for 19.99 €.
This version is to be identical with the exception of individual cosmetic items that must be activated in the individual playing campaign - which is included in Ghost of Tsushima. Owners' inside of Ghost of Tsushima and the standalone version of Legends should be able to easily play and against each other.
If you want to carry out the single player campaign afterwards, you can easily upgrade to the Director's Cut by Ghost of Tsushima. There are 50 € for the PS4 version and 60 € for PS5.
New multiplayer mode "Rivals"
With Rivals, Ghost of Tsushima Legends also gets a new multiplayer mode that mixes PVP and PVE elements. In this, two teams each come from two players * inside against each other and combat waves of enemies. Each defeated enemy brings Magatama, a resource that you can spend to hurt the opposing team. So you can add some sources that lives away or let enemies explode.
The mode appears on 3 . September 2021 .

The progression system of Legends also receives revision with the so-called Gear Mastery System. Thus, players can have earned the equipment from the Ki-level 110, bind them to a class and accept "Mastery Challenges". By using this, the level of the corresponding equipment can then be increased to 120 and you can unlock new skills and techniques for each class.
Director's cut shortly before release
With the Director's Cut Ghost of Tsushima receives his first big addon on 20 August 2021. A trailer for IKI extension has already granted a small insight into the story that will expect us - and that should not even be so short. According to the developers, the DLC will deal as long as act 1 of the main story.
