Geoguessr is a popular online game based on Google Maps. The principle is as simple as awesome: you will expose somewhere in the world. You move in Google Street View through the surroundings and have to find out where you are on earth. You mark the place on the world map you think of you are there. The closer you are the right stain earth, the more points you collect. Geoguessr always play with the real world, will be boring in the long run? Well, then the "GTA 5" variant tries out!
Yes, the Open World game of Rockstar Games now has its own GeoGuesser version (with third "E"). But this is not an extension for the original Geoguessr, but a self-created game created by a fan, which you can also play completely free of charge without restrictions. Who wants, supports the maker on Patreon.
The game principle is identical to that of the Great Model. You will somehow sold to San Andreas and have to find out where you are. You have the choice between three prefabricated difficulty levels. On "Simple" there is no time limit and you may move freely in the world. On "means" it becomes significantly trickier. Here you have only 45 seconds per round and may only turn the camera and zoom. On "heavy" does not even work and the time limit is reduced to 30 seconds. But you can also adjust the settings at will and play approximately with complete freedom of movement and a 60-second timer.
We find it terrific that GTA 5 now has its own geoguesser. Here you can check how well you can know in Los Santos and surroundings. Too bad enough that the game does not yet offer multiplayer mode. But who knows, maybe the developer is still building them. We would be pleased if there will be Geoguesser.Variants from other video games in the future. Such a version with Skyrim, Breath of the Wild or Cyberpunk 2077 would be great, or not?
