Nintendo has implemented a system within Nintendo Switch Online in its latest update, which includes a section of missions and rewards. Users can get Platinum Points from My Nintendo by completing periodic missions, and with them you can buy items to customize the icon of our Nintendo profile.
At the moment, we can find four missions available that will grant these platinum points, which include simple tasks such as using the online Nintendo Switch application itself; Open a title compatible with the game in online; Access one of the NES classics, in this case Super Mario Bros. (These are included in the base subscription, without the expansion pass); or use the saved data in the cloud.
On the part of the community it was already brought together (in fact, since its launch in March 2017) claiming the use and obtaining of platinum points to buy products within the Nintendo Switch System as you could already do with Wii U or Nintendo 3DS, with themes for the menu and even downloadable programs. Now, yes, yes, the integration of a similar system but using the golden points, which for the moment its only use in Nintendo Switch is that of direct discounts on digital purchases.
The funds, characters and frameworks that we can buy will be for a modest number of points (10 in the case of the characters, 5 in frames and funds), and at the moment it includes items of super mario odyssey and animal Crossing: New Horizons , which seems to be changing over the months since they have a deadline at the store.
